Choosing the right airlines

When you plan a trip to Central Asia, or Uzbekistan in particular, it is extremely important to choose the right flight and airlines. Uzbek Havo Yullary (Uzbek Airlines) remains one of traditional companies to reach Tashkent, Uzbekistan, though recently powerful competitors emerged, such as Turkish Airlines (TK) which has many flights from European countries, especially Eastern Europe, such as Czech Republic, Hungary, etc.

Also, a new connection is getting more popular, to arrive in Uzbekistan via Riga, Latvia, using Baltic Airlines.

Central Asia is very rich in opportunites what to see and where to go. We were supposed to fly to Tashkent in early April, which is, as they say, the best time to come. There were some issues with local airlines, Havo Yullari, which seems a bit outdated.

Back home we had chosen a tour around Uzbekistan, for seeing as much as possible within one week that we had.
